Obituary of Paula S. Herrman

            Paula Sue Herrman, the daughter of Irvin C. Nondorf and Bessie (Klima) Nondorf, was born September 25, 1952 in Belleville, Kansas and passed away at her home in Norway, Kansas on April 19, 2024 at the age of 71.

            Paula attended the local public schools, graduating from high school.  She then attended and graduated from Cloud County Community College.

            She then began her employment at Scott Specialties in Belleville, Kansas in October of 1973.   In October of 2023, she had been employed for 50 years at Scott Specialties and was still working there at the time of her passing.

            On July 28, 1978, she was united in marriage to Howard L. Herrman and to this union was born, Trevor, Travis, and Channing.

            She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church-Norway;   Kansas Campers and FCRV; the Swinging Swedes Square Dancers; and the Kickin Kountry Kloggers.    Paula also assisted with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and enjoyed many hobbies, especially wood carving.

            Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin & Bessie Nondorf, her husband, Howard L. Herrman in 2021; granddaughter, Marta; and sister-in-law, Jan Nondorf.

            Paula is survived by two sons, Trevor (Renee) Herrman, of Edmond, Oklahoma and Travis (Lexie) Herrman of Concordia, Kansas;  one daughter,

Channing (Roy) Herrman, of Courtland, Kansas; 7 grandchildren, Bella, Prudence, Audrey, Kylee, Emma, Miah, and Layne; One brother, Mike Nondorf of Belleville, Kansas; two sisters, Lois Walkenhorst of Kansas City, MO and Dawn (Brian) Phillips of Belleville, Kansas; several in-laws; other relatives and friends.

            Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Norway Cemetery, Norway, Kansas with Shawn Baird, officiating.

            Inurnment will follow the services.

            Friends may call to sign the register book from 1 PM until 7 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS where the family will greet friends from 6 PM until 7 PM on Thursday.

            Memorials are suggested to the Paula S. Herrman Memorial Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
