Obituary of Arlene F. Mulch


Arlene F. Mulch, daughter of Walter Thoman and Ethel (Fraley) Thoman was born August 18, 1928 at Pine Bluffs, Wyoming and passed away on August 10, 2014 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Ks at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 22 days.
Arlene graduated from Hebron High School. She was united in marriage to Wallace W. “Chip” Mulch on July 4, 1948 and to this union two children were born, Karen and Steven. She was a homemaker and was an Administrative Clerk at Republic County Hospital for 17 years. She enjoyed gardening, rescuing pets and taking care of her cats.
She was a member of Abiding Word Lutheran Church, Deshler, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ethel Thoman, & husband, Wallace W. “Chip” Mulch.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen (Allen) Lange of Victoria, Texas, one son, Steven Mulch of McPherson, Kansas, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, one brother, Darrel Thoman of Liberty, Missouri, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Two PM, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Abiding Word Lutheran Church, Deshler, Nebraska, conducted by Pastor George Lautner.
Interment will be in Chester Cemetery, Chester, Nebraska.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Family Choice.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 1 PM to 9 PM, Wednesday from 9 AM to 9 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Ks.
