Obituary of Charles S. Robison


Charles Sheridan Robison, son of John Sherman Robison and Grace E. (Smith) Robison was born April 16, 1936 at Concordia, KS and passed away on April 8, 2018 at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville, KS at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 22 days.
Charles graduated from Scandia High School in 1954. He was united in marriage to Nina Hammer on July 22, 1956 and to this union three children were born, Delton, Debbie and Doyle. Nina passed away on January 1, 1974. He was united in marriage to Judith Anderson on September 6, 1975.
Charlie was a farmer and rancher his entire life, he loved the land. He loved just driving around and checking the fields and irrigation systems on the farms. He enjoyed helping Robison Farms & Robison Farms Harvesting which he traveled from Texas to Canada. He & his boys designed & builds the header trailers that slid into the bed of the truck to move down the road from town to town. Morning coffee at Home Oil daily was a great time do you share stories with friends. He loved to take family and friends on tours of the farms and show his new inventions and adventures. He could always be found with a smile on his face when in a tractor or other piece of farm equipment. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping roping and spending time with his family especially when food was evolved.
Charlie was a member of the United Methodist Church, Scandia, KS, Eagles, Moose,
Coyote Club, and the River Valley Saddle Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Grace Robison, first wife, Nina Robison, grandson, Christopher Simmons, daughter in law, Linda Robison, brother, Everett Robison, sister in law, Mae Robison Morrison
He is survived by his wife, Judith Robison of Scandia, KS, one daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Simmons of Scandia, KS, two sons, Delton (Belinda) Robison of Scandia, KS, Doyle (Brenda) Robison of Scandia, KS, 8 grandchildren, Jeff (Katie) Simmons, Nicholas (Heather) Robison, Kyle (Brandi) Robison, Daniel (Davanie) Robison, Adam Simmons, Kelli (Ryan) Devine, Nena Robison & fiancé Cody Shepard, & Dustin Robison, 16 great grandchildren, Layton Robison, Maggie Moody, Xavier Robison, Hailey Robison, Alex Robison, Zyden Robison, Brycen Robison, Zach Flowers, Trenten Robison, Gabby Flowers, Olivia Robison, Kennadee Robison, Caysyn Robison, Grayson Devine, Aiden & Eastin Shepard. Sister, Martha (Gary) Clark of Leesburg, FL, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Two PM, Saturday, April 14, 2018, United Methodist Church, Scandia, KS, conducted by, Pastor Sandra Jellison-Knock and Pastor Kathy Aeillo.
Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, KS.
Memorials may be given to United Methodist Church, Scandia, KS.
Friends may call on Friday, April 13, 2018, from 1 PM to 8 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Scandia, KS, where the family will receive friends from
6 PM to 7 PM.
