Obituary of Kiedar “Sid” Sidders

Kiedar “Sid” Sidders, the son of Virgil Kiedar Sidders and Patricia Marlene (Ross) Sidders, was born September 6, 1968 at Belleville, KS and passed away on April 15, 2015 at Deshler, NE at the age of 46 years, 7 months, and 9 days.
He grew up in central Kansas, attending schools at Newton, Concordia, Belleville and Salina South High School in Salina, KS. He graduated from Minneapolis High School, Minneapolis, KS.
Following his schooling, he joined the U. S Navy, serving for a time.
He then worked for several hog farms in south Central Nebraska. Kiedar moved to the Tulsa, Oklahoma area where was involved in a lawn care business. He moved back to the area to Formoso, KS and later Deshler where he has worked at Reinke Manufacturing for several years.
Kiedar was involved in sports for many years. He was a professional boxer and was a friend of famed boxer Tommy Morrison along with participating in Men’s League Hockey both while living in the Tulsa, OK area.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ryan; his father, Virgil; and his step-father, Wayne Nielander.
Kiedar is survived his mother, Patricia Nielander of Belleville, KS; one sister Heather Burk of Belleville, KS; his grandmother, Carol E. Johnson of Belleville, KS three nephews ,Dalton, Dustin, and Ryan Burk; and one great nephew, Riley Burk; aunts, Laura Ross of Denver, Colorado and Jovena Anderson of Formoso, KS; other relatives; and many friends.
Cremation was selected and graveside memorial services will be held at the Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Formoso, KS at a later date in May-2015.
No visitation is planned and friends may sign the book and gather at the cemetery prior to the services.

Cemetery Location-go west on US highway 36 from Formoso, KS turnoff to 250 Road, turn south on 250 RD to "N" Road( go about 2 miles south) turn right or west on N RD, cemetery is one-half mile on north side of road on "N" RD. The cemetery can be seen from 36 highway as it sets on a hill to the south.
