Obituary of Leona L. Joy

     Leona L. Joy, daughter of Charles Lesovsky and Anna (Barnett) Lesovsky was born October 3, 1915 at rural Cuba, Kansas and passed away on November 25, 2011 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas at the age of 96 years, 1 month and 22 days.
     Leona attended Cuba Public Schools and graduated from Cuba High School in 1934.  She was united in marriage to Azel A. Joy on August 31, 1938 and to this union two children were born, Lorene and Charles.
     She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Narka, Kansas and the Presbyterian Women.
     She was preceded in death by her Parents, Charles and Anna Lesovsky, husband, Azel A. Joy, two sisters and one infant brother.
     She is survived by one daughter, Lorene Holloway and husband William of Narka, Kansas, one son, Charles Joy of Narka, Kansas, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother in law, Eugene Hadachek of Belleville, Kansas, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
     Funeral services will be held Ten Thirty AM, Saturday, December 3, 2011, Presbyterian Church, Narka, Kansas, conducted by, Pastor Phil Goombi.
     Interment will be made in Maple Grove Cemetery, rural Narka, Kansas
     The family suggests memorials to Belleville Public Library, Music Ministry’s, Narka Presbyterian Church.
     Friends may call Thursday from 1 pm to 9 pm and Friday from 9 am to 9 pm at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Ks  and the family will greet friends and a music tribute by the TNN PCS ( Ten Pieces) for family and friends will be held 7 pm Friday at Bachelor-Surber Chapel.
