Obituary of Linda K. Robison


Linda Kay Robison, the daughter of Raymond Dale Macey and Barbara Anne (Milne) Macey, was born January 11, 1962 at Junction City, KS and passed away on October 8, 2014 at Scandia, KS at the age of 52 years, 8 months, and 27 days.
Linda grew up in Salina, KS, graduating from Salina South High School in 1980. She then attended Cloud County Community College, graduating with an associate’s degree in business in 1982.
On June 5, 1982, she was united in marriage to Doyle Robison and to this union was born three children, Kyle, Kelli, and Dustin. They made their home in rural Scandia, KS.
Linda worked for Evans Grain while in high school and in college. She later worked at Reece Construction and the F.S.A. office. Linda then began work at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, KS where she was a medical transcriptionist and coder for 26 years. She also assisted with the Robison Farm operation.
Linda was the secretary for the Hospital Board. She loved fishing, spending time with grandchildren, bowling, reading, going on trips, watching the cooking channel, and gambling.
She was preceded in death by one nephew, Christopher Simmons, and her grandparents.
Linda is survived by husband, Doyle Robison of Scandia, KS; two sons, Kyle (Brandi) Robison and Dustin Robison & (Ryan Brown), and one daughter Kelli Flowers & (Ryan Devine) all of Scandia, KS; five grandchildren, Hailey, Brycen, Trenten, Zach, and Gabbie; her parents, Raymond and Barbara Macey of Salina, KS; one sister, Susan (Don) Reiff of Salina, KS; one brother, Michael Macey &
(Sue Miller) of Houston, TX; other relatives, her faithful dog, Miley, and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, October 13, 2014 at the United Methodist Church, Scandia, KS with Pastor Kathy Aeillo, officiating.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Friends may sign the register book from 1PM until 9PM on Sunday at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS. The family will greet friends from 3PM until 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Meadowlark Hospice or Republic County Hospital.
