Marian L. Kallman Obituary


Marian L. Kallman, daughter of Russell L. Johnson and Lillian (Carlson) Kallman was born November 28, 1927 at Belleville, Kansas and passed away on July 1, 2015 at Belleville, Kansas at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 3 days.
Marian graduated from Belleville High School in 1945. She was united in marriage to Carl A. Kallman on December 22, 1946 and to this union two sons and one daughter were born. She was a book keeper and worked with her husband Carl at Kallman’s Travel Center in Belleville for many years.
She was a member and Past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, past Worthy Matron and member of the Order of Eastern Star, Beta Delphian study club, Red Hats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Lillian Johnson, husband, Carl A. Kallman, two brothers, Clifford Johnson, Leonard Johnson.
She is survived by one daughter, Carla (Chris) Thoman of Concordia, Ks, two sons, Paul Kallman of Scandia, KS., Jay (Lynell) Kallman of Belleville, KS., seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two sisters, Jeannie Lewis of Salina, KS., Luella Huntley of Iola, KS., nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Two PM, Monday, July 6, 2015, Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS, conducted by, Rev. Emily Meckley
Interment will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, rural Scandia, KS.
Memorials may be given to Family Choice.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1 PM to 9 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS.
