Obituary of Richard C. Lachman

Richard C. Lachman, son of Charles Lachman and Marie (Shimek) Lachman was born January 15, 1925 at rural Cuba, Kansas and passed away on April 3, 2012 at Narka, Kansas at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 18 days.
Richard graduated from Cuba High School and attended Kansas State University where he received a BS Degree. He served with the United States Army during World War Two. He was united in marriage on June 6, 1954 to Barbara Anderson and to this union one son was born, David C. Lachman. He was a retired High School Teacher and farmer. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cuba, Kansas, William Fleming American Legion Post No. 345 of Cuba, Kansas, WFLA, Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ivan and Roger, one sister, Ruth.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lachman of Narka, Kansas, one son, David (Kathy) Lachman of Chandler, Arizona, two step grandchildren, one sister, Margaret Lachman of rural Cuba, Kansas, sister in law, Muriel Lachman of Green Valley Arizona, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Cremation was chosen. Private Family Inurnment will be at a later date.
