Obituary of Shirley E. Koss

Shirley Ellen Koss, daughter of Clyde Miller and Charlotte (Meeker) Miller was born December 18, 1936 at Osceola, Nebraska and passed away on July 6, 2012 at Hebron, Nebraska at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 18 days.
She received her education in the Osceola public schools. She was united in marriage to Melvin L. Koss on August 5, 1955. She was a farm wife and homemaker. She managed the Senior Center in Chester, Nebraska for many years. She was an avid Cornhusker Fan.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hubbell, Nebraska, Hubbell Womens Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Charlotte Miller, great granddaughter, McKayla Koss, one brother, Bill Miller, one sister, Judy (Miller) Grantham.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin L, Koss of Hubbell, Nebraska, four sons, Steve Vanderslice and his wife Joanna of Omaha, Nebraska, Greg Koss and his wife Bobbi of Madison, Nebraska, Bill Koss of Reynolds, Nebraska, Jody Koss and his wife Heidi of Chester, Nebraska, fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services will be held Two Thirty PM, Monday, June 9, 2012, St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Nebraska, conducted by, Pastor Richard Gudgel.
Inurnment will be made in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hubbell, Nebraska.
Memorials may be given to Family Choice.
